The Now Institute provides planning for mid-size American cities through the CULTURE NOW Project. It allows to explore the urbanism and spatial patterns.
So through the CULTURE NOW Project, it talks about the Transportation, Housing which have affected urban development. The map is graphically represented to show the residential growth along highway corridors, while in Lincoln most residential growth has occurred in between the northern and south-eastern corridors. This may be because people prefer to live away from industry or the railroad, and the Cornhusker Highway create an infrastructural barrier to northern expansion. It also shows how daily commercial vehicle traffic moves through the area. It also shows the projected growth of the city in next few years.
